2025 12th International Conference on Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Materials Engineering (AMTME 2025), organized by South China University of Technology and hosted by the School of Light Industry Science and Engineering and the National Key Laboratory of Advanced Papermaking and Paper-Based Materials of South China University of Technology, as well as the Printing Technology Special Committee of the Chinese Photographic Society, was successfully held at South China University of Technology from May 23rd to 25th, 2025. This conference brought together numerous experts and scholars from various universities, research institutes, and enterprises, who engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on the cutting-edge science and applications in the field of advanced manufacturing technology and materials engineering.
Dr. Chen Guang delivered a talk titled "Applications in Printing Manufacturing and Its Re-color 3D Printing and Other Fields", focusing on the color reproduction mechanism of full-color 3D printing and the innovation of paper-based printing systems, which promoted the development of flexible electronics and intelligent sensing technologies.
Professor Li Xinyong delivered a lecture titled "Rational Design of Spinel Structure Green Materials for Sustainable Application", discussing the interface regulation and performance improvement of multifunctional nanomaterials.
Professor Wang Xiaohui shared "Research Progress on Advanced Papermaking and Paper-based Materials", emphasizing green manufacturing and the development of high-performance paper-based functional materials.
Professor Liu Xuying presented "Cross-scale Printing Integration of Flexible Organic Electronic Devices", introducing new inks and high-resolution printing technologies to enhance device performance.
Professor Wu Wei shared "Manufacturing and Application of Flexible Electronic Devices by Full Printing Method", demonstrating the breakthroughs and prospects of full printing technology in flexible sensors and intelligent applications.
In the afternoon, under the chairmanship of Professor Zhong Linxin and Professor Tian Junfei, after a full and rich series of oral presentations throughout the day, experts from renowned universities such as Northeastern University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Guangxi Normal University, Taiyuan University of Science and Technology, Liaoning Institute of Engineering Technology, Guangzhou Civil Aviation Vocational College, and Guilin Aerospace Industry College, as well as research institutions and enterprises including China Academy of Engineering Physics, Diou Furniture Group, Mining and Metallurgical Technology Group, Guangdong Power Grid, and Dongguan Zhongyan Polymer Materials Co., Ltd., engaged in in-depth sharing on cutting-edge topics such as advanced materials, high-performance alloys, green manufacturing, and intelligent sensing. Each presentation covered various fields ranging from high-solubility photosensitive polyimide, new green coatings, to the failure of high-temperature alloys, complex deformation behaviors, and the application of intelligent sensors, fully demonstrating the latest research achievements and application progress in advanced manufacturing and materials engineering.

On the morning of the 25th, the special meeting - the advanced printing manufacturing and new materials special report and the work meeting of the Printing Technology Professional Committee of the Chinese Photographic Society officially began. The meeting invited experts and scholars such as Professor Sun Zhicheng from Beijing Institute of Printing Technology, Professor Lin Maohai from Qilu University of Technology, Associate Professor Chen Linyi from Shenzhen Polytechnic University, R&D Director Yang Yegao from Fujian Nanwang Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., and Executive Director You Banzuo from the National Green Printing and Packaging Industry Collaborative Innovation Base, to have in-depth discussions on hot topics such as the design and printing of flexible electroluminescent devices, the acquisition of digital materials, the sustainable development of the packaging industry, and the research and application of innovative materials and biobased packaging materials.
